The dominating “Black Arches” made me name this building “The Black Vault.”
Following my design’s philosophy of structure that represents the client or any of its traits, I found that he has a difficult taste but keenly observes all practical parameters. So, firstly, I noted all the essential parameters, like sun path, heat gain, sun angle, etc., and came up with the idea of having a curve projection to increase the sun shade and reduce heat gain.
After resolving this challenge, now aesthetics came into play, how curve projection can turn into a great facade, so I try to add geometry to it, like squares and rectangles all these elements are composed in such a way that resolved the practical issues and also curate a balanced facade. The X factor of this facade is the huge wave arches on the left.
The client approached us to get his office designed that has some sort of uniqueness and yet it should be able to address all practical requirements.
After arranging the structure, now it’s time to choose the top layer. In order to provide significant attention to the main element they are all crafted in black smooth finesse. While the exposed side adds chawki to the facade.
